What is Cashmere?

Cashmere is a rare and precious fibre from the Capra Hircus goat which roams freely in the mountains of Inner Mongolia. It is one of the worlds most expensive fibers; just 300g may be collected from 4 goats. It is luxurious and soft; much softer than silk yet it has amazing life enhancing properties. A single strand of cashmere in ten times thinner that a human hair and when spun into a yarn and knitted it is light in weight and warm to wear.
