Pittards was established by Charles Pittard in Yeovil, Somerset, in 1826 as a leather dressing business supplying the many glove makers in the local area. Originally, Pittards would have worked only with local Somerset sheepskins, but in the early 20th century the company began sourcing the very best leathers from allover the world. Today Pittards manufactures both leather and finished bags at its leather goods manufactury in Yeovil, Somerset, England. Their leathergood are recognised by the cognoscenti as some of the finest English leather goods manufactured. For us they are the best.
